Our Mission
At Petition Network, our mission is to empower McKinney residents to hold their city leaders accountable. We strive to connect individuals with referendum topics that matter to voters.

The McKinney Petition Network is a grass-roots association of concern citizens who want a say in their local government and a way to keep the City Council accountable to its citizens.
HOW IT WORKS
Select issues that are important to you in the registration form below. When there are enough people interested in signing a petition related to your chosen issue, you will be sent an email with the text as it will appear on the petition. You can then indicate whether you want to sign the petition about the issue by checking "yes" or "no" on a form included in the email. You will then be given the option to sign the physical petition at a public location or opt to have a person visit your home or office with the petition for you to sign.
CITY COUNCIL'S ACTION
When enough signatures are gathered, the petition will be filed with the McKinney City Secretary's office. By law, the City Council is required to either adopt the petition proposal or put it to a public vote.
